This acquisition solidifies Solar Art’s operations on the East Coast and expands its capabilities on both coasts, according to the company.

Solar Art has offices in San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Dallas, Phoenix, Nashville and New York. Solar Art’s services include energy-efficient window film, security window film, anti-graffiti film, DefenseLite installations and custom graphics. Solar Art is headquartered in Laguna Hills, Calif.

Solar Art will add 22 employees with its acquisition of New York Window Film, bringing their total to 132 employees across the country. Along with the employees comes a Long Island, N.Y., office and its ninth warehouse and office location. New York Window Film owner Steve Pesce will stay on in a consulting role and to help with the transition.

“When I first came into the industry, New York Window Film was the gold standard in the window film world and Steve was always someone I looked up to,” says Solar Art CEO Matthew Darienzo. “Now to be a part of the amazing company and culture he has built is pretty special for me and our entire organization.”
