New Cars, New Strategies

Chrysler Capital researched the most popular searches that can help prepare you and your business for the hottest cars right now. XPEL trainer Marco Cazorla says structuring marketing efforts around the results could pay dividends.

“It’s important to use real data like this for outside-of-the-box thinking,” Cazorla says. “For example, create content you can market your business to these specific vehicles; content that you can share on YouTube, Facebook (car clubs), TikTok, blog posts and Instagram. The business that executes on this will win and keep winning so long as they stay consistent with their content and great customer experience. Again, those who execute will win by an unfair advantage.”

Rank             Car                                         No. of monthly searches

3                   Toyota 4Runner                      69,820
4                   Honda Civic                           61,220
5                   Ford F-150                             60,830
6                   Jeep Grand Cherokee            57,150

At the top of the list for most-searched vehicle types are trucks, SUVs and minivans with 19,800, 11,520 and 2,610 monthly searches respectively. On the opposite end, sedans, coupes, wagons and hatchbacks are not currently as popular with 170, 50, 20 and 20 monthly searches, respectively.

Trucks are the top dogs in this year’s data.
