“Operation 35% Illegal Window Tint Enforcement” Took Place in Murfreesboro This Past Week

Murfreesboro Police recently cracked down on those who had window tinting that was too dark or on the windshield of their vehicle. Tennessee law states that it is unlawful to operate any motor vehicle in which any window has a visible light transmittance equal to but not less than 35 percent. The Rutherford County Traffic Safety Task Force was on the lookout for vehicles with windows that appeared to be darker than the Tennessee law permits during their “Operation 35% Illegal Window Tint Enforcement.”
