WFCT Kickoff Sees Sleek Supercars and Savvy SeminarsJune 8th, 2021 by Chris Collier
Day one of the International Window Film Conference and Tint Off™ (WFCT) at the Orlando County Convention Center is in the books. And what a day it was.
The Tangerine Ballroom stole the morning with a variety of educational seminars from insightful industry veterans. Here are some highlights:
- Randy Hutson, owner of Five Star Window Coatings, emphasized the lucrative potential of decorative window film in Entering the Decorative Market.
- Patric Fransko, owner of Eye Magnet Management, detailed the importance of targeted advertising and quality-over-quantity social media posts in Expert Strategies for Marketing Your Business.
- Harry Rahman, director, architectural films, XPEL Inc., discussed the processes of successful technological implementation into film shops during Using Technology to Stay Competitive.
- In Manufacturer Talk Show Live, Tara Taffera, editorial director of Window Film Magazine, moderated a panel that saw top industry suppliers reflect on the past and look towards the future.
Mercedes and McLaren—A Show Floor of Supercars
From Tint Wiz’s glowing Tesla to Autobahn and Huper Optik USA’s Mercedes Benz AMG GT, the show floor was covered in wrapped, tinted and protected stunners. And that’s not even mentioning 813-Tintings’ Jeremiah Bienko and his McLaren and Lamborghini. It doesn’t get more exotic than that.
From one side of the exhibition floor to the other, exhibitors showed up in full-force. From 3M™ to Madico to Eastman to Avery Dennison to Tint Wiz to Xpel and more, attendees had an opportunity to network with an array of industry professionals.
In a historic first, Lisa Winckler of Eastman was inducted into the Window Film Hall of Fame. Winckler has spent most of her career in the window film industry. She is the first female inductee.
WFCT is open through tomorrow and free onsite partial registration is available using the promo code FTSO21A. Or sign up and attend online from home by visiting https://www.wfctevent.com/.
