Courage Brothers to Distribute HanitaTek in CanadaAugust 3rd, 2016 by Katherine Coig
HanitaTek, the US branch of Hanita Window Films, recently signed a distribution agreement with Courage Distributing Inc. (Courage), a leading window film distributor in Canada that’s owned by brothers Todd and Trent Courage, last year’s inductees into the Window Film Hall of Fame at WFCT. Courage will offer Hanita’s range of solar and security films, and will back HanitaTek with warehousing and supply solutions to existing customers across Canada.
“We are happy to be offering Hanita window film products to the Canadian marketplace” said Trent, “their quality products, service and training fall right in line with our business model.”
The Courage brothers have owned and operated Courage, a Canadian company, since 1992. The company distributes window films, paint protection films (PPF) and related accessories across Canada. They began their careers in the retail window film business in 1989 in Mississauga, Ontario and began sub-distributing in 1992. Two years later, the brothers sold their retail business in order to focus on distribution.
To keep with the growth of the west coast market, Courage opened its second location in Vancouver in 1995. With Courage expanding, the brothers moved their businesses to larger spaces in order to keep with demand.
Courage has maintained its reputation in the Canadian window film industry due to its customer service, dealer support programs, certified training programs and industry seminars that see more than 400 attendees each year. These qualities have helped the company remain at the top of its industry and allowed it to sell millions of square feet in window film and PPF every year.
“Hanita’s flat glass and security product lines offer new and unique films that have not been seen in Canada. It’s exciting to be able to offer these products to the industry,” added Todd.
