Rayno Window Film Inc. to Sponsor International Window Film Conference and Tint-Off™ 2014

October 1st, 2014 by Editor

Rayno Window Film Inc. has signed on to be a Sponsor of the 2014 International Window Film Conference and Tint-Off™ (WFCT). The event is set to be held October 7-9, 2014, at the Baltimore Convention Center and will include educational seminars, an exhibition hall and the attendee-favorite, Tint-Off™ competitions.

During the conference, attendees will be able to take part in educational seminars by industry leaders and expert speakers, network on the Exhibition/Extravaganza show floor with window film and paint protection film manufacturers and suppliers, as well as view three Tint-Off divisions.

We spoke with Rachel Min, marketing team lead – media and brand for Rayno Window Film Inc.

WFM: Why did your company choose to Sponsor the 2014 International Window Film Conference and Tint-Off™?

Rayno Window Film is a science-oriented company with a rich history in the window film industry, but we are a new name to the United States. The year of 2014 marks the official designation of the U.S. headquarter for Rayno and now we are committed to playing an active role within window film industry and being at WFCT as a Sponsor allows us to communicate that commitment by supporting window film professionals in their ventures and efforts within the window film industry. Rayno’s sponsorship is extended to support female WFCT contestants and it is a part of our on-going effort and contribution to expand opportunities for talented window film professionals in the industry.

WFM: What will your company be displaying for attendees to view at the 2014 show?

For fall 2014, we are all about our patented Phantom line of automotive films. Our Patented Nano Carbon-Ceramic films bring a new paradigm to the industry within the U.S. and Rayno is proud to be at the forefront of new product offerings.

WFM: Do you have any show specials you wish to announce or share early?

We will be running promotional pricing rates through the November 7, 2014 and will be offering several chances throughout the show to win gift cards good for substantial film discounts as well as free full rolls of film.

WFM: Why is an event like WFCT important to the window film industry?

An event like WFCT is important as it creates an opportunity for window film professionals and manufacturers to come together and discuss the industry. For Rayno, we believe that discussion fosters new ideas and new ideas foster innovation.

The window film industry is such a niche market that there aren’t many opportunities for the community to come together and the Tint-Off provides a platform for industry professionals to congregate and network when there might not otherwise be the opportunity to do so. WFCT is certainly more than a top notch tinting competition for window film professionals.

WFM: Does your company have any advice for the Tint-Off contestants?

We think the best piece of advice is to practice staying calm under the time pressure. Everyone competing is already at the top level of their craft, but being able to stay calm and think clearly on their feet is an invaluable tool that can often be overlooked.

Rayno began its journey in the U.S. with the world’s first nano carbon ceramic film, Phantom automotive film series. The company expects to open its branch in California this fall and a few more branches in place by next year with architectural window films and other applications. Through the fusion of existing technologies and refinements that lead to better quality, Rayno is exploring ways to develop true innovations for windows and make a positive impact upon society.
