Window tinting and car audio automotive styling franchise, Tint World, announced a license has been awarded for a new franchise location in Charlotte, N.C. The announcement follows November’s news that new franchise locations were also awarded licenses in Greenville, Fayetteville and Wilmington, N.C.

The license was awarded to Paul Hostage, a young entrepreneur who also owns a medical supply company and was interested in diversifying his business ventures in the custom automobile industry.

“I’m sure Paul’s extensive managerial experience with his medical supply company will support his success as a Tint World business owner, and I’m very excited about his passion for motorcycle styling he will be promoting in his new store,” says Tint World president Charles Bonfiglio. “Right now our stores deal mostly with automobiles, and we are eager to have Paul lead the charge to establish Tint World as the premier national franchise for motorcycle styling as well.”

The Boca Raton, Fla.-based tinting franchise, Tint World, continues to grow with the announcement of three new licenses awarded for franchise locations in West Palm Beach, Fla. The owner of the new stores, Cary Lopez, will be opening his first store in mid-to-late November.

“Cary is sure to be a strong member of the Tint World team,” says Charles Bonfiglio, president of Tint World. “His background in the construction industry has given him more than enough management experience to achieve great success with the Tint World system, and his knowledge of the Florida market will also make him a valuable new member to the Tint World team. You really have to know how to get the job done, and Cary has already proven success in this in a very difficult industry.”

Window film franchise, Tint World Window Tint and Automotive Styling Center, has been included in Inc. Magazine’s 500/5000 list at #4439. The Boca Raton, Fla.-based company earned the honor by being one of the fastest growing private companies in the United States. Starting with just six locations, the franchise has more than quadrupled in size within the last five years and has grown by 20 percent in the last three years. The company’s revenue jumped from $4.1 in 2007 to $4.9 million 2010.

Anthony Foley, director of franchise development for Tint World, attributes the growth to being a unique presence in the industry as a franchise.

“It’s the fact that the industry doesn’t have a presence like us and the consumer is looking for something like us,” says Foley. “I definitely knew we had something special here and it’s great that other people can see what we are putting together.”

“I wasn’t surprised by the growth because I knew that there was a good model here, very low cost and an easy system for someone once they have been trained,” says Charles J. Bonfiglio, Tint World’s franchise president. “I knew it was going to grow pretty quickly, but to go from six stores in 2006 to 28 stores sold in the U.S. in 2011 is great.”

“It was a surprise,” says Bonfiglio about making the Inc. Magazine list. “I got emailed that they saw the company growing so we became part of the program. A month or two later they sent us a notice telling us we have been selected. We couldn’t say anything for two months.”

“That was an exercise in patience for sure,” says Foley. “Now we are really looking forward to advancing that number on the list year to year.”

The Inc. list has set a new goal for Tint World to increase its ranking in future lists. Besides the list, Tint World is just looking forward to continued growth within the automotive aftermarket industry.

“We are constantly looking to find franchisees that are a good fit,” says Foley. “At the end of the day, the strength of the franchise system is the strength of the franchisees. That all starts with profiling and making sure we are a good fit before we start working together. We are growing rapidly and are looking to expand into the international market which could be solidified by the end of the year.”
