“Notably, the Invicta UV film used to protect the Charles Dickens Museum exhibits is optically clear, but will reduce UV light transmission by over 99.5 percent measured at 380 nanometers, thereby dramatically reducing the risk of fading and UV degradation,” reads a release issued by the company.

According to the statement, the company says the project was the result of the museum’s re-opening December 10, 2012, and was completed in an effort to preserve Dickens’ former family home where he wrote several of his famed novels.
