Window Film on the Radio

June 13th, 2013 | Category: Industry News

Window film was recently the topic of discussion on a popular home improvement radio station. Darrell Smith, executive director of the International Window Film Association (IWFA) was interviewed on “At Home with Gary Sullivan,” where he explained the importance of window film.

“The IWFA has an ongoing outreach program to media outlets across the nation, on both a regional level and nationally. The purpose is to educate people about window film as a means of supporting our network of dealers, distributors and manufacturer members,” he says. “Our public relations firm is in constant touch with reporters that cover topics ranging from consumer interests, home improvement, building and energy savings. The IWFA has been featured in consumer publications such as Mother Earth News, Natural Solutions Magazine, Home Energy, Scottsdale Living and many trade publications. We were excited to be on the ‘At Home with Gary Sullivan Show’ recently. The program is carried on XM radio and 138 stations across the country. We have other equally important news media opportunities underway that will help to further build a positive story for window film.”
