IWFA Offers Free Consumer Info About Benefits of Window FilmAugust 2nd, 2012 | Category: Industry News
The International Window Film Association (IWFA) is offering free information on the association’s website about how consumers can reduce cooling costs and the demand on electric power grids.
“Window film not only works smarter when it comes to energy savings, it’s a greener choice as it offers a small carbon footprint,” says Darrell Smith, executive director of the IWFA. “Window film can be quickly installed on existing windows with minimal disruption to daily routine and it gives new life to once outdated windows so owners save on energy, avoiding both removal and disposal costs of the existing windows, while improving the comfort of their work and living spaces.”
The informational booklet can be downloaded at www.iwfa.com/ConsumerInfo/IWFAWindowFilmBooklet.aspx. It offers expertise on window film for energy savings and extending the life of windows without changing their architectural integrity.
