Why would a distributor of window film want to deal sole and exclusive with one manufacturer ,and put all their eggs in one basket ?
From my forty years of experience in this industry, it make more sence to me, to always have alternative suppiers as cicumstances change overnight . Why not sail your own ship and call the shots to suit your game plan and build your own brand.
Any how Llumar products are very expensive, and in todays world we are dealing in a very price sensitive market.
I personally think it is a much safer and wiser to deal on the open market and brand under one's own name, if one is in a position to do so. If you play the game this way you are always in control, and cannot be pushed around and given price increases whenever the manufactures require more profits for their shareholders.
It also gives you lots of flexability with your purchases or if you want to sell one day .Each manufacture has a few winner lines, styles and shades and if one is smart one can pick the cherries from the top.
Food for thought . Leon Levy
