Roland and Aegis Team Up
Roland DGA Corp., an Irvine, Calif.-based provider of cutting systems and software, announced recently that it has teamed up with Aegis Films, a Norcross, Ga.-based film manufacturer, to offer package solutions including Aegis film products. This marks the second announcement of this type for Roland in 2008 alone, as the company announced earlier in the year that it had teamed up with 3M to offer similar solutions.
Aegis officials say discussions began in May of 2008 at the International Window Film Expo, Conference and Tint-Off™ held by Window Film magazine.
“Aegis will benefit from the worldwide recognition of Roland and everything they have to offer in terms of support,” explains Ricky Parker, distribution sales manager for Aegis. “They’re currently a leader in the graphics industry and we can put them in the window film and paint protection industry much stronger.”
