Former PGC International Executive Director Retires

Stanley L. Smith, former executive director for the Protective Glazing Council (PGC International), retired on March 1, 2008. Bill Yanek succeeds Smith, who served as executive director for the past seven years. PGC officials say the council grew by more than 40 percent under Smith’s direction and took on a more international focus.

The PGC International board of directors named Smith an honorary member of the organization at its 2007 Annual Symposium.
