CPFilms Offers Paint Protection Film

Martinsville, Va.-based CPFilms has introduced Llumar® Paint Protection Film, an optically clear paint protective film for automobiles. The product is designed to offer a removable shield against scratching, chipping and minor surface damage that mar auto paint finishes.

The paint protection film is a clear urethane film, eight mils thick and intended to cover portions of the original automotive paintwork, particularly those areas most prone to paint damage, such as the side doors and frontal bodywork.

According to the company, the film is extremely flexible, allowing it to be installed easily over larger areas of curved body surfaces, and will not be compromised by standard car washing. The film is high gloss and can be maintained with waxing.

CPFilms warrants the Llumar Paint Protective film against cracking, peeling, bubbling or yellowing for as long as the original purchaser retains ownership of the vehicle.
