Window Film Foils Florida Burglar

Window film saved the day recently at a Hollywood, Fla., 7-Eleven location. A police officer dispatched to an alarm call said he discovered a hammer on the ground outside of a broken window at the 7-Eleven at 1801 N. 66th Way. The officer reported that the window had been hit several times, but held together. Little did the burglar know that he was up against protective window film.

According to the officer, when the alarm went off, the burglar apparently dropped the hammer and fled the scene.
