Bekaert Appoints Peter Andries Market Manager

Bekaert recently appointed Peter Andries as market manager, North America for its sputter products division. The Belgium-based coatings provider says Andries will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities in North America and will serve as the primary contact person for all existing customers of its rotatable sputter solutions. He will be based at the company’s facility in Spring Green, Wis.

Andries has served as Bekaert’s customer service technician in North America and the company says his extensive technical background, industry expertise and dedication to its North American customers will be major assets in his new role.

“Mr. Andries can draw for this new position from his years of experience with Bekaert customers and customized sputter solutions to offer an exceptional level of strategic support,” says Rémy Rochard, general manager, sputter products. “We are confident that his enthusiasm and dedication will significantly contribute to addressing the needs and demands of a challenging market.”

In addition to Andries, Thomas Ray will be joining the North American team as an internal sales reinforcement. Bekaert says Ray brings a hands-on mentality, strong sales experience and a proactive attitude that will contribute to its sales team’s customer administration.
