New Film Association Forming, Focusing on Automotive Tinters

A new trade association for the automotive window tinting industry is forming. A steering committee for the American Tinting Association, has been formed with the advice of manufacturers, and is responsible for the establishment of the association, including the creation of a constitution. According to the news release regarding the association’s formation, the constitution will be “issued to all companies in the sector, and as requested.”

Ken Shofstall, a 24-year industry veteran, is the founder and director of the association.

“The industry has now reached a point where the needs of the automotive window tinters have to be met. I am dedicated to this association and what it stands for. All companies and manufacturers in the window tinting industry are invited to join. We hope to cover 75 percent of the market within the next year,” Shofstall said in the news release.

The association has retained a secretary of administration to assist in the general appointment of the executive committee, as well as a webmaster.
