The Wrong Man

Illegal tint nearly led a Florida man to imprisonment recently. He was stopped for illegal windshield tinting and wound up being arrested for murder. It wasn't until hours later that fingerprint comparisons showed he wasn't the real murderer, who happened to have the same name, birth date and description.

He was released the same day, but his holding cell didn't lie vacant for too long, as his wife, who protested the arrest, was taken in for resisting arrest and interfering with a police officer. She made bond and still faces possible charges.

A Louisiana State Patrol spokesperson, said it was an unfortunate situation, but troopers acted in good faith.
