Geoshield Signs Advanced Film Solutions

Advanced Film Solutions Inc., a Tampa, Fla.-based window film dealer, recently announced it was selected by Geoshield to provide exclusive installation of the Baton Rouge, La.-based manufacturer's Lumenesse series-a new, nano-ceramic, non-metallic film line.

Advanced Film Solutions' owner and president Mike Feldman says the product line offers new features key to his market.

"Lumenesse Films are the first and only nano ceramic window films that have passed the stringent requirements of the ASTM 1886 Medium Large Missile Test," Feldman says. "The team at Geoshield has the support and resources of Louisiana State University … This film is unique in that it is virtually clear with a 70 percent light transmission which is perfect for high-rise condominiums and retail stores where aesthetics and visibility is a key requirement."

Feldman, who retired in early 2007, after a 33 year career including serving as national sales manager for 3M Window Films, is giving his new provider rave reviews. "We have never experienced a window film company like Geoshield," he says. "They have demonstrated that being big isn't the determining factor when consumer requirements are critical."
