Announces New Training Tools
Bekaert Specialty Films recently announced it has opened a new Window
Film Academy for its Solar Gard dealers. Company officials say the new
academy offers classes in architectural window film, advanced safety and
security window film, automotive window film and Clearshield installation
and is aimed at helping dealers train new employees. It can also serve
as a refresher course for dealers and installers who want to ensure their
installation methods are up to snuff.
Architectural dealers who are unable to attend courses also have the option
of receiving a Solar Gard Architectural Window Film Installation DVD.
Company officials say this comprehensive installation DVD includes information
and instructions on proper tools, site preparation, measuring windows,
cutting film using a variety of methods, liner removal and film installation
techniques for solar, safety and outside weatherable films.
