New York Window Film Co. Expanding Operations

February 12th, 2014 by Editor

New York Window Film Co., (NYWF) based in Farmingdale, N.Y., has announced that it is outgrowing its present location and is in negotiations to purchase an existing larger building about three miles from its current address.

NYWF has worked out of a building at 131 Florida St, Farmingdale, N.Y., since 2000. Under the leadership of Stephen Pesce, the sales/support staff has increased to eight people. The office space required to accommodate this staff and the inventory required has prompted the need for this move.

Pesce started NYWF in 1990, as a one man company, working out of a 100 square feet third floor office of a building that housed an auto detailing business. Foreseeing the need, and the demand, for window film on flat glass, NYWF was formed. The company moved to its present 1,800 square feet location in 2000, with five employees.

Today, with 12 installers, and eight sales/support staff, seven vehicles and more than 1,000 rolls of window film in inventory, NYWF carries major window film brands manufactured by 3M, Vista, Llumar and Solyx, among others.

Services include decorative, security, anti-graffiti and low-E energy-efficient films.
